"En fantastisk matopplevelse
hos Uni Sushi!
Vi fikk en nydelig og variert
8-retters middag, med utrolig gode smaker og flotte presentasjoner. Her får man virkelig mye mat for pengene.

"A pearl of a restaurant in little Norheimsund: I can't help but feel extremely lucky to have this top quality Asian restaurant here in Hardanger. The food is absolutely delicious and easily rivals the hip restaurants in the city. I had, amongst other delights, the slow cooked ox-cheek dish, which was melt-in-the-mouth fantastic, with subtle spices and deeply satisfying umami flavours. But it wasn't just the food! The decor was beautiful and aesthetics extremely well thought-out. So cool! Fish banners, octopus themes and expertly matched shades of greys and blues and greens, I felt inspired! I loved the Japan kitsch and gorgeous food presentation. Love it! Will definitely come again!"

"Uni Sushi & Izakaya in Norheimsund is an absolute gem! We arranged an omakase-style dinner for 13 people, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The owner provided impeccable service, tailoring the meal perfectly for our group. Each dish showcased incredibly fresh ingredients—especially memorable was the where the Edomae-style sushi servings & an Udon-dish featuring a sauce based on 3-month matured kimchi. When I mentioned my love for kimchi, the owner thoughtfully brought out a sharing bowl for everyone to taste.
The wine and sake selection was excellent, complementing each course beautifully. Portions were spot-on, leaving us satisfied but not overwhelmed. Honestly, the food is so exceptional I'd gladly make a detour to Norheimsund just to dine here again—it’s worth stopping on they way from from Bergen, Stavanger, or Oslo. If I lived in Bergen, the food would be worth the trip to Norheimsund in itself.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for amazing Japanese cuisine and warm hospitality!"
